Story

Kraven the Tracker is a forthcoming American superhuman film in light of the Wonder Comics character of a similar name. Created by Columbia Pictures in relationship with Wonder Amusement, and circulated by Sony Pictures Delivering, it is expected to be the fifth film in Sony's Bug Man Universe (SSU). The movie was coordinated by J. C. Chandor with a screenplay by Richard Wenk, Workmanship Marcum and Matt Holloway, from a story by Wenk. It stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson in the lead spot close by Ariana DeBose, Russell Crowe, Fred Hechinger, Christopher Abbott and Alessandro Nivola.


Kraven was considered for film appearances a few times before Sony became keen on an independent film for the person, as a feature of their new common universe, in 2017. Chief Sam Raimi wanted to incorporate the Wonder Comics character Kraven the Tracker in his fourth Bug Man movie before that task was dropped for rebooting the establishment with The Astonishing Bug Man (2012).[14] Sony Pictures reported plans in December 2013 for The Astonishing Bug Man 2 (2014) to lay out a common universe — propelled by the Wonder Realistic Universe (MCU) — in light of the Wonder properties they held the freedoms to.[15] Kraven was prodded in that film,[16] with its chief Marc Webb communicating interest in seeing the person show up on film.[17] In February 2015, Sony and Wonder Studios declared another organization to co-produce the movie Bug Man: Homecoming (2017), and incorporate the Bug Man character with Wonder's MCU.[18] Sony reported their own common universe, "Sony's Bug Man Universe",[19] in May 2017.[20] Sony expected this to be "assistant" to their MCU Bug Man films,[21] highlighting Bug Man related properties starting with Toxin (2018).[20] The studio was thinking about a Kraven movie for the universe.[22] Prior to discovering that Sony had the movie privileges for Kraven, chief Ryan Coogler would have liked to remember the person for his MCU film Dark Puma (2018) due to a battle between Dark Jaguar and Kraven in Christopher Minister's Dark Puma comic book run.[23]

Story Line

Richard Wenk was recruited to compose a screenplay for Kraven the Tracker in August 2018, a month after the effective arrival of Sony's The Balancer 2 (2018), which he composed.
